Teachers’ Day: Naveen extends greetings

Bhubaneswar: On Teachers’ Day, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday extended his greetings to the teaching community.

Patnaik also paid tributes to former president Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an exceptional teacher on his 131 birth anniversary.  

“Teachers play invaluable role in shaping young minds and building their characters for a healthy society. On #TeachersDay, salute to all teachers & offer my humble tribute to scholar, philosopher & former President Dr S Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary,” tweeted the Chief Minister.

Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand art paying rich tributes to former president Radhakrishnan on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

Sudarsan took to his Twitter handle to share a picture of a sculpture built by him.
