President arrives in Odisha to attend function of Army Air Defence College

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. The President is on a two-day visit to Odisha.

He was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind and was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour at the airport.

President Kovind arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport here by a special Indian Air Force aircraft.

He was welcomed by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Sarangi, chief secretary Asit Tripathy and DGP Bijay Kumar Sharma.

He is scheduled to attend the 25th convocation ceremony of the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur of Ganjam district later on Saturday.
