Mo Buses will not ply after 2 pm during Durga Puja

Bhubaneswar: With Twin City Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and Khurdha gearing up for Durga Puja celebrations from October 5 to 9, Mo Bus services will not be available in any route after 2 pm.

The buses operated by Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) will be available at the usual frequency between 6 am and 2 pm.

This decision was taken owing to guidelines issued by the Commissionerate Police imposing restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles on several roads of Twin City and Khurdha after 4 pm during the five-day-long festival.

“We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to the citizens. We want citizens to enjoy Durga Puja revelry at ease. The restrictions are implemented for convenience and safety of the public,” said Dipti Mahapatro, General Manager, Personnel and Administration & spokesperson, CRUT.
