Sex racket busted in Odisha’s Bhadrak, 2 arrested

Bhadrak: A sex racket operating from a rented house has been busted in Odisha’s Bhadrak district while two persons have been arrested, said police on Thursday.

One young woman was rescued in the Bhadrak sex racket.

Police on Wednesday night busted the sex racket at Betada Bazaar under Basudevpur police limits in Bhadrak district.

Two persons were arrested and a woman was rescued. Three others, including a woman, fled the spot.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a house in Bethada Bazaar leading to detention of the young men and rescue of the women.

Locals had been for long alleging that the house was being used for flesh trade.

Sex racket has been continuing across Odisha while police continue to conduct raids.
