Bhubaneswar: As part of Ease of Doing Business (EDB), Odisha Industries Department kicked off a series of regional workshops on business reforms from Angul on Friday.
Senior officials from IPICOL and directorate of industries and experts sensitised the stakeholders from Angul, Boudh, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Keonjhar.
This series of workshops under the umbrella of “Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP)” is aimed to meet as many as 720 industries and their representatives at six industrial hubs like Angul, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Berhampur, Sambalpur and Sundargarh.
The officials will meet promoters on the particular theme on 23rd of October at Bhubaneswar. As many as 144 industries will be sensitised on business reforms.
Industry representatives from Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Kendrapara will be joining this event.
On 31st October, 109 industries are going to meet to resolve various issues related to their business from Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Koraput, Nawarangpur and Raygada districts at Berhampur.
Similarly, industries based at Sambalpur and its neighboring districts like Bargarh, Bolangir, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, and Sonepur will meet the senior officials on 5th November. As many as 122 industries will join this event.
Eighty-nine industries operating at Sundargarh and nearby areas will be addressed by top officials of the IPICOL and industries department on 6th of November.
On 08th
November, 141 industries have consented to join from Balasore, Bhadrak and
Mayurbhanj districts to participate in a regional workshop at Balasore.
