Citizens can apply for LL, DL at any RTO in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Now, citizens can now apply for the grant of learners license (LL), driving license (DL) and registration of vehicle at any RTO in Odisha.

Earlier, one could apply only to the concerned RTO in whose jurisdiction the applicant was residing or had a business.

Now RTO region-wise restriction has been removed as per amended Motor Vehicle Act, said the State Transport Authority.

On the other hand, More LL issued in just two months compared to the whole year of 2018.

All the RTOs of Odisha have issued 3.51 lakh of LLs in the month of September and October 2019.  In the whole year 2018, only 3.48 lakh LLs were issued in the state.
