Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications from candidates to apply for Odisha Civil Services Exam 2019.

The online application process for the OCSC exam 2019 will begin on November 13, 2019, and conclude on December 10, 2019, said a notification.

Interested candidates can apply for it by visiting the official site of OPSC at opsc.gov.in.

The last date for submission of the application fee is December 16, 2019.

The notification said that the examination will be held for recruitment on 153 vacancies in Group A and Group B services.

OPSC Odisha Civil Services Exam 2019 vacancy details:

Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), Grade A (Junior Branch) – 30 Posts

Odisha Police Service (OPS), Grade A (Junior Branch) – 9 Posts

Odisha Finance Service (OFS), Grade A (Junior Branch) – 7 Posts

Odisha Co-operative Service, Group B – 5 Posts

Odisha Revenue Service (ORS), Group B– 82 Posts

Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service, Group-B– 20 Posts

Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the UGC Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government.

Age Limits

The candidate must be under 32 years of age and over 21 years of age as on January 1, 2019. He/She must be born after January 2, 1987, and before January 1, 1998.

This upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen, and by 10 years for PwD candidates.

Exam pattern

The OPSC Odisha Civil Services Examination 2019 will have Prelims Exam (Objective type-Multiple choice questions), Mains Exam and Personality or Interview.

Both prelim and main examination will be held at five zonal centres- Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, and Sambalpur.
