Man climbs atop Utkal University library building, threatens to commit suicide

Bhubaneswar: A man has climbed atop the Parija Library in the Utkal University campus here and threatened to commit suicide.

The man, who is yet to be identified, was spotted in a semi-naked state on the Library roof by some staff. They immediately informed the varsity authorities in the morning.

After hours-long operation by the fire services personnel, the man was rescued from the Parija Library building in the Utkal University campus.

During the rescue operation, a drone camera was used to keep track on the movement of the youth.

The youth threatened them that he would jump off the building if anybody comes near him.
