Girl throws acid on youth over failed relationship!

Cuttack: A youth suffered serious burn injuries when a girl allegedly threw acid on him over a failed relationship in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

The incident occurred in Jagatpur area of Cuttack late Tuesday night.

The injured has been admitted at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. He was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday after the necessary treatment.

The girl has been detained at Jagatpur Police Station.

The victim said that he and the accused girl were in a relationship in the past.

Last night, the girl called him to meet outside his home. However, the girl allegedly threw acid on him after a minor altercation.
