Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to conduct a common entrance test for admission to postgraduate streams in different universities of Odisha from academic session 2020.
It was decided at a meeting of the vice-chancellors of the universities presided over by the Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahu here on Tuesday.
The Minister said that students would not have to write multiple examinations for different universities for a subject.
From 2020 academic year, PG admissions across Odisha colleges and universities will be through a unified entrance exam, he added.
He informed that the results of Plus-III exams would be published by varsities before June 15 every year.
