Christmas celebrated in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Christmas was celebrated with traditional fervour in Odisha as people thronged churches for special prayers on Wednesday.

Churches across Odisha were decorated with lights, candles, Christmas trees, and bells. Decorating a Christmas tree is one of the most interesting parts of the festival.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik conveyed his warm greetings on Christmas Day.

“Warm greetings and best wishes to all on this joyous occasion of Christmas. May your lives be filled with happiness, peace and prosperity. Merry Christmas,” tweeted the Chief Minister.
