New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced that Delhi assembly elections will be held on February 8.
Model code of conduct for Delhi elections 2020 comes into effect with the announcement, the ECI said.
Delhi elections will be held in a single phase. The results will be announced on February 11, said the ECI.
A total of 1.46 crore voters are eligible to cast their franchise in the Delhi elections 2020.
The term of the 70-member Delhi Assembly is ending on February 22.

sweeping 67 of the 70 Assembly seats.
