HSC exam: Section 144 at Odisha school to stop supply of cheat sheets

Bhubaneswar: Dhenkanal district administration in Odisha has imposed Section 144 around Biribulei Janata Government High School to stop the parents supplying cheat sheets to students appearing for the High School Certificate (HSC) exam 2020.

Kankadahad block education officer Harihar Dehury said the HSC exam will be conducted under the strict vigil of police and magistrate.

The students will appear the third language paper on Monday.

During the English paper examination on Saturday, police had a faceoff with some guardians who were allegedly helping students in malpractice at Biribolei Janata Government High School in Dhenkanal district.

One Dambaru Sahu of Kankadahada was injured while attempting to supply cheat sheets to his daughter during the exams. Meanwhile, School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Das said that parents supplying copy is unacceptable and the administration is taking adequate steps in this regard.
