Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Monday said it will engage 23000 teachers for evaluation of answer scripts of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination.
The evaluation of matric exam papers will begin on May 20. Along with this, evaluation of answer sheets of State Open School Certificate (SOSC) and Madhyama Examination will also begin from May 20 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
The valuation process of the matric papers has suffered delay of one and half months due to Coronavirus pandemic.
BSE president Ramashis Hazra said 6000 evaluators would be engaged in addition to the 17000 it had initially decided for the evaluation of the answer papers.
Nearly 6,000 more numbers of examiners have been appointed and their names are available at the board’s official website www.bseodisha.ac.in.
All institution heads are requested to download the same and relieve the newly appointed examiners and the examiners who had already joined for evaluation on March 18 and 19, said the BSE.
Registration of those teachers either with the concerned DEO or at nearby evaluation centre is necessary. The registration form is available at the board’s website. Registration should be completed by May 19.
The BSE plans to announce the results by July end.
