Bahuda Yatra 2020: Puri admin imposes curfew

Bhubaneswar: Puri district administration on Saturday declared imposition of curfew in the district from 10 pm on June 30 to 10 pm on July 2 for smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings.

The Bahuda Yatra 2020 will be held on July 1.

The curfew imposed from 10 PM on June 30 till 10 PM on July 2. The curfew will remain in force across the whole district,” informed district collector Balwant Singh.

No visitors will be allowed to the pilgrim town between July 1 and July 4 for associate rituals of the deities.

The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings was held on June 23.
