Odisha reports 591 Covid cases, 3 deaths

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 591 new Covid-19 positive cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on Saturday.

COVID-19 positive tally of the state touched 16701 while the death toll rose to 86.

The fatalities include two each from Ganjam and one from Gajapati district.

Out of the fresh cases, while 394 cases were reported from the quarantine centres, 197 are local contacts.

Ganjam district reported highest positive cases of 182 followed by Khurdha (121), Cuttack (38) and Bargarh (35).
