Odisha govt fixes new timing for liquor sale

Bhubaneswar: Liquor shops in Odisha will now remain open from 10:30 am to 10.30 pm in addition to the home delivery service, informed the excise department.

However, shops within containment zones will remain closed.

According to the department, counter sale of FMFL/IMFL/wine/beer/RTD/out still liquor and ENA-based country liquor in all licensed IMFL ‘OFF’, ‘ON’, OS, CL shops outside containment zones will be allowed to be sold between 10:30 am and 10:30 pm.

Earlier, the sale of liquor was permitted from 7 am to 6 pm due to lockdown measures.
