Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Special Train to run daily

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to extend the frequency of Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Intra-State Special Train from 5 days a week to daily up to December 31, 2020.

The train will run daily from November 7, said a release on Friday.

02861/02862 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Intra-State Express from Rourkela will leave at 05:10 hours daily and will reach at Bhubaneswar at 12:30 hours.

In the return direction, 02862 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Intra-State Special from Bhubaneswar will leave at 14:10hrs daily and will reach at Rourkela at 21:40hrs.

The composition of coaches of this train has been increased to 10 coaches instead of earlier 8 coaches, the release said.

Now, the train will run with 02 AC Chair Cars, 06 Second Class Chair Car and 02 Guard cum luggage vans after augmentation of one AC-Chair Car and one Second Class Chair Car.

This train will stop at Rajagangpur, Bamara, Jharsuguda, Rengali, Sambalpur City, Rairakhol, Boinda, Angul, Talcher Road, Dhenkanal and Naraj Marthapur between Rourkela & Bhubaneswar from both the directions.
