Mercury continues to drop in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Mercury continued to drop in several parts of Odisha while Sonepur district was the coldest town with recording 9.4 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.

According to the regional met centre, as many as nine places in the state recorded temperature below 15 degree Celsius.

While Daringbadi recorded 9.5 degree Celsius, Phulbani shivered at 10.0 degree Celsius and Angul recorded the minimum temperature of 11.0 degree Celsius.

Mercury dipped to 11.2 degree Celsius in Koraput while minimum temperature in Bhawanipatna was 11.4 degree C.

Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 16.3 degree Celsius whereas Cuttack was at 16.0 degree Celsius.
