ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel to set up 12 mtpa steel plant in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday between the Odisha government and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India for setting up of a 12 millon tonne per annum (mtpa) integrated steel plant in Kendrapara district with an investment of Rs 50000 crore.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and ArcelorMittal executive chairman LN Mittal were present during the MoU signing ceremony held at the New Convention Centre at Lokaseva Bhavan here.
