2.5 lakh doses of Covid vaccine reach Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 2.5 lakh doses of Covid vaccine reached Bhubaneswar via an AirAsia flight on Saturday morning.

“Tika Utsav will be observed in the state tomorrow. Vaccine doses will be given at all centres throughout the state tomorrow,” said Health and Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi.

Till date, Odisha has administered over 40 lakh doses of Covid vaccine successfully.

The vaccines have been administered to the healthcare workers, frontline warriors and citizens above 45 years of age.
