Sambalpuri playwright Panchanan Mishra passes away

Sambalpur: Eminent Sambalpuri playwright Dr. Panchanan Mishra passed away due to COVID-19. He was 71.

The Kosali dramatist breathed his last at around 2.00 AM on Thursday at a COVID Hospital in Burla.

Born in Sonepur district in the year 1950, Dr. Panchanan Mishra was also a theatre actor, theatre director, critic and folk theatre researcher.

Mishra was a faculty of the Department of Drama at Sambalpur University.
