3 killed being hit by Visakhapatnam–Tatanagar Express in Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: At least three labourers were killed after being hit by a train near Haldiapadar level crossing of Berhampur in Ganjam district late on Sunday night.

According to reports, a total of seven people were crossing the railway track when three among them were hit by the incoming Visakhapatnam–Tatanagar Express at around 11.30 pm last night.

The locals immediately informed about the incident to the Government Railway Police (GRP).

On getting the information, GRP arrived at the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur for autopsy.

The cops have initiated a probe into the matter.
