Aryan Khan gets bail from Bombay High Court


Mumbai: The Bombay High Court today granted bail Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in drug case. The High Court also granted bail to Arbaz Merchant and Munmum Dhamecha.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan had moved the Bombay High Court as his bail plea in Mumbai Special Court was rejected on October 20. Aryan’s counsel had filed a fresh petition in the Bombay High Court after the second bail petition was rejected in the Lower Court once more.

Worth  Mentioning, as many as eight accused including King Khan’s son Aryan were arrested by the Narcotic Control Bureau(NCB) on October 2 in connection with a drug case.   

Mukul Rohatgi, senior advocate and former Attorney General for India represented Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan in his plea before the Bombay High Court seeking bail in the cruise ship drug case. Advocate Satish Maneshinde appeared for Khan before the Magistrate court, while Senior Counsel Amit Desai was the lead counsel before the Sessions Court along with Maneshinde. Khan is seeking bail from High Court after both Magistrate and Sessions Court had rejected his bail plea.

Aryan Khan is currently lodged in Arthur Road prison in Mumbai after he was arrested by the NCB following the alleged drug seizure from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2.
