Odisha Govt makes important announcement for Class-X students; all you need to know


Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to conduct summative assessment-II for Class 10 students, said Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Friday.

The board examination (Class-X) will be held on April 29 and continue till May 6.  

The exam will be conducted in offline mode and it will be mandatory for all students. The exam will be held in the last week of April.

Students will appear in summative assessment-II in their own schools. Teachers from other schools will be appointed for the management of the exam, said the Chief Secretary.

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has formulated a module to conduct the 10th exam after holding a discussion with various stakeholders.

The score of students will be decided after conducting three types of assessments. The highest score secured by a student in any one of the three methods will be taken as the final mark.
