Odisha govt hikes DA by 3%; to be effective from Jan 2022


DA Hike: Odisha government employees have a piece of good news today. The State Government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3 per cent for the employees.  

According to reports, the DA will be effective from January2022.

“Dearness allowance of state government employees has been increased by three percent. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved this proposal. As a result, the Dearness Allowance of state government employees increased from 31 per cent to 34 per cent,” informed the I and PR Department of the Odisha Government.

“It has been implemented with effect from 1.1.2022. The TI of pensioners drawing pension at the revised rate has also been increased by three percent. In addition to receiving increased allowances in this month’s salary, the arrears of allowances from January 2022 to August will be paid separately,” said the Department.
