Goods train derailed at Jajpur’s Korei station; 3 dead

Jajpur: A Goods Train got derailed at Korai Station in Bhadrak-Kapilas Road Railway Section under Khurda Road Railway Division of East Coast Railway today. The incident took place at about 6.44 am.

According to reports, three persons were killed and many passengers sustained critical injuries in the derailment. The Railway Station Building also damaged due to the derailment and both the lines have been blocked.

The CCoR has sent Accident Relief Train and  Accident Relief Medical Team to the site.

DRM Khurda Road along with other Branch officers have rushed to the accident spot for repurcation work.
