Direct flight from Bhubaneswar to Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha cabinet on Tuesday approved the bid for the operation of direct international flights from Bhubaneswar to Dubai, Singapore and Bangkok.

IndiGo will operate flights on these routes.

A 186 seater flight will be operated from
BPI Airport, Bhubaneswar and the expenditure will be borne by State Government towards this flight operation. ln lieu, the revenue generated through ticketing will be retained by the State Government.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had promised direct flight at the Dubai Odisha Investors’ Road Show.

A total of 17 decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister.
