Railway budget 2023-24: Odisha receives record allocation


Bhubaneswar: Odisha has received its highest-ever allocation of Rs 10,012 crore for the development of railways in 2023-24.

“Odisha has sought for an allocation of Rs 8,400 crore but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given Rs 10,012 crore for growth of railways in the state in 2023-24 financial year,” said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

New line/ Doubling / Gauge conversion : 37 projects; 4,643 km; 55,219 Cr
