Odisha DHE announces timeline for admission into degree colleges

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department (DHE) has announced the much-awaited timeline for e-admission into +3 degree colleges, including self-financing degree colleges. 

The e-admission process will commence on the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal, which has been developed to facilitate online admissions, making it easier and more accessible for students. 

Here is the timeline that has been set forth by the Odisha Higher Education Department for the e-admission process:

Availability of Common Application Form (CAF): June 19

From this date onwards, students can access the Common Application Form (CAF) on the SAMS portal. The CAF is a crucial document that needs to be filled out accurately, providing essential information about the applicant’s educational background, preferences, and personal details.

Last date to apply online CAF: July 4

Applicants must ensure that they complete the online CAF submission before the specified deadline.

Validation and Correction of CAF at SAMS Resource Centres: June 21 to July 7 (Except Holidays)

Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for first round selection): July 14

Selection of Slide/Freeze/Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by selected Students: July 14 to July 18

Reporting of the Applicants at allotted institutions for taking Admission (first round selection): July 15 and July 17 to July 19
