DA hike news: CM announces 3% DA hike for Odisha govt employees


Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Diwali, the Odisha government has increased dearness allowance and relief by 3 percent, raising it to 53% for state government employees and pensioners.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the DA hike for Odisha govt employees.

The higher rates will be effective retrospectively from July 1, 2024, a release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.

The enhanced amount will be paid in October month’s salary, the CMO said.

With the decision, about 7.5 lakh employees and pensioners will be benefited.
