Anil Kumar Singh takes over as Director (Commercial) of NALCO


Bhubaneswar: Anil Kumar Singh has assumed the charge of Director (Commercial) of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO.

Prior to the present assignment as Director (Commercial), Singh was working as General Manager (Materials & Contracts) and I/c – HR at Hindustan Copper Limited, a CPSE under the Ministry of Mines.

Singh has a remarkable work experience of over 35 years in the Commercial division of the Metal Industry. He is a graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from BIT Sindri in the year 1990. He also acquired degree in GDMM, MBA (Materials Management) and PGDCA. He began his career in the Materials Management Division at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), Visakhapatnam.

Singh’s strategic vision and deep industry expertise have been instrumental in advancing HCL’s ambitious expansion goals.

At HCL, Singh was responsible for marketing products of the Company, making policies, strategizing & handling major Materials, Service & Works contracts, storage handling and quality control of the Copper Concentrate.

Singh has a unique blend of experience, excelling in Materials Management and Marketing holding key positions in RINL and HCL. During his service at RINL and HCL, he demonstrated expertise in both frontline operations and leadership skills. His comprehensive expertise spans the Materials Management, finalizing major MDO contracts for mines, Marketing and Contracting Functions at the Corporate Offices of the Organisations. He was involved in maximizing procurement through GeM and meeting MSME Targets, making policies in compliance with Govt. of India guidelines.

Congratulating Singh on assuming charge, Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO, expressed confidence that his experience would further strengthen NALCO’s commercial operations. With his joining as Director (Commercial), he said, the Board of Directors of NALCO has been further strengthened.
