Bench headed by CJI to hear Rath Yatra case


New Delhi: A three-judge bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) is set to hear the Rath Yatra case on Monday.

A bench of CJI SA Bobde and Justices Dinesh Maheshwari and Justice AS Bopanna will hear more than a dozen pleas seeking permission for the Car Festival without congregation of devotees.

The same bench had passed the June 18 order staying Rath Yatra in Puri and across Odisha.
