Repair Jagamohan On War Footing: Puri Gajapati

BHUBANESWAR: With controversy arising over repair of Jagamohan of Jagannath temple, Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb on Monday said repair work of Jagamohan should start on a war footing.

He said the repair work should be on a long term basis and no compromise on quality.

“Those who are taking the decision, they should conduct an on-the-spot inspection to take stock of the situation,” said  Dibyasingha Deb.

he also hoped that there would be no delay further in the repair of Jagamohan, facing the sanctum Santorum.

Gajapati said perhaps ASI had not accepted core committee suggestions leading to delay in repair work.
