Odisha CM directs to construct 75K rural houses per month

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Thursday, directed to construct 75000 houses per month, under Rural Housing Scheme, with a target to complete 7 lac houses by the end of this financial year.

Notably while Rs. 1365 crore was spent last year for the scheme, this year it has touched to Rs. 2286 crore so far. It was revealed in a meeting taken by the Chief Minister.

“We will make photos of all completed houses available in website along with beneficiary details. All payments in housing are through Banks”, tweeted the Chief Minister.
