BHUBANESWAR: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Tuesday declared Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) results for the year 2015.
As per the result, while the pass rate among CT candidates was recorded at 13.29 percent, for B.Ed the pass percentage was 15.61.
Out of 56,504 candidates who had appeared for the CT test, 7,514 candidates have passed the examination. For B.Ed, 38,815 candidates appeared the test, of which 6,062 cleared the test.
The BSE has conducted the written exam for OTET 2015 on September 27 at various centre spread all over Odisha.
Now all the candidates can check their OTET 2015 result by using their roll no. and date of birth from the available website- http://www.indiaresults.com and http://www.prestigeresults.com – from 3 pm.
Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check their results and can download OMR answer copies of the test from these two websites on December 2.
The Odisha teacher eligibility test (TET) exam was conducted to fill the vacancies of primary level teacher and elementary teacher in the government schools of Odisha.
The board has conducted paper 1 and paper 2 on September 27.
The candidates who will clear the cut off marks for paper 1 and paper 2 will be called for the interview round.
The OTET is a mandatory examination which has to be taken by all the B.Ed candidates who wish to teach in the government run schools as well as in the schools run by private managements in Odisha.
