Invitation for applications for recruitment of 1370 Constables in OISF

BHUBANESWAR: The State Selection Board, Odisha Police, Cuttack has invited application for recruitment of 1370 vacant post of Constable in Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) in various districts of Odisha.

Aspirants looking for the police jobs in Odisha can apply for these posts. The application process has been started, and the last date for sending online application form is January 4, 2016. The applications should reach the concerned Superintendent of Police on or before January 4.

Odisha Police Recruitment 2016:

The newly created Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) has been formed for protection and security of industrial undertakings owned by the State Government, Private and Public Sector undertakings, certain other establishments and autonomous bodies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have passed High School Certificate examinations or equivalent examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognised Board / Council.

A candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia Language equivalent to M.E standard recognised or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of Government of Odisha.

Age Limit:

The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years or more than 23 years as on 01.01.2015. Upper age is relaxed up to five years for SC/ST and women candidates. Age limits for ex-servicemen shall be relaxed as per government rules.

Application Fee:

Candidates (other than belonging to SC/ST Categories) are required to pay Rs.150/- ( Rupees One Hundred Fifty only) towards examination fees in shape of Bank Draft/Postal Order.

How to Apply for Odisha Police Recruitment 2016?

All the Candidates should pay Rs.35/- in the shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order towards the cost of application forms in the concerned District.

Also, the application form will be downloaded on the website of Odisha Police www.odishapolice.gov.in. and Odisha government portal www.odisha.gov.in .The candidates who have downloaded the application forms from the website shall also pay Rs.35/- in the shape of Bank Draft / Postal Order with the application form.

The Bank Draft / Postal Order will be in favour of concerned Supdt. of Police of the district. The application forms purchased from concerned district police or downloaded from the Odisha Police, or Odisha Government website shall only be accepted.

The application form along with Bank Draft / Postal Order and photocopies of self-attested certificates should be sent to the concerned Supdt. of Police by post or by the hand of the concerned district.
