OJEE for technical courses on May 8

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha government will conduct Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for all technical courses, except degree engineering and medical courses, on May 8.

OJEE will be held for various courses including MBA, MCA, MAM, MTech, MPharm, March, BHMS, BAMS, diploma engineering and lateral entry for various government and private colleges in the state, said OJEE sources.

Online application will be invited in the first week of February and student can register their details through the official website www.ojee.nic.in and www.odishajee.com.

Notably, a large number of seats is falling vacant across the state since past two-three years.

The students interested to pursue their career in degree engineering will have to appear in JEE Main. The offline test for JEE Main will be held on April 3 whereas the online test will be conducted on April 9 and 10.

CBSE had issued notification for Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2016 for admission at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions and Institutions funded by participating state governments.
