BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Government has received a total 1,247 suggestions through various modes from public, civil society, advocacy groups and stakeholders for the formulation of Annual Budget, 2016-17.
The last day of receiving suggestions was January 15.

The Government had launched a web page and an SMS number to accept suggestions from the general public to increase their participation in budget preparation.
The Center for Excellence in Fiscal Policy & Taxation (CEFT) has been engaged for analysing these suggestions.
