Odisha seeks land for second Odisha Bhawan in Mumbai

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday urged his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis to provide one-acre land for setting up another Odisha Bhawan in Mumbai.

This would be second Odisha Bhawan in Mumbai if Fadnavis allocates land to Odisha government.

In a letter to the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Patnaik asked to provide land in the area of Kharghar or Panvel to build Odisha Bhawan that would be helpful for the people of Odisha visiting the state for various works.

Odisha has one Odisha Bhawan at Vashi in Navi Mumbai.
