CUTTACK: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Friday announced that the evaluation of High School Certificate (HSC) answer sheets will start from March 11.
BSE President Dakshya Prasad Nanda said scanning of objective papers have begun after the HSC examination came to an end on Friday.
He said the evaluation of the answer papers would begin from March 11, and the board has selected 67 e-school centres across the state to carry out this activity.
Out of the 58,123 teachers of 8,233 schools that had registered online with the BSE for answer sheet evaluation, BSE has tasked 16,000 teachers for the job.
Notably, the examination began on February 22. This year 6, 01,348 students appeared in the annual examination at 2,882 centres. Of them 5, 63, 220 students are regular students and 26, 023 students are ex-regular students.
