ROURKELA: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday inaugurated the country’s 100th aircraft fuelling centre at Rourkela.
Tribal affairs minister Jual Oram, Minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha and local MLA Dilip Ray were present during the inauguration of the fuelling centre set up by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL).
“This will give a fillip to development of aviation facilities & provide a foundation for a convenient & hassle-free air travel from the city,” tweeted Pradhan.
The central minister will also witness groundbreaking ceremony of third rail line work of the Rourkela-Jharsuguda route in the second half of the day. They will also hold a review meeting of different projects with NHAI, NTPC, SAIL and Railway officer during their visit.
