CUTTACK: Girl students have outsmarted boys in the High School Certificate (HSC) examination 2016 results of which were declared on Wednesday.
The success rate of regular students has been 85.20%, announced School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra.
A total of 2,46,240 girl students has cleared the examination as compared to 2,43,482 boys in the HSC exam.
In 21 schools, not a single student passed while in 715 schools, all the students passed, said Mishra.
Balasore district has topped in overall success rate by scoring 92.90 % followed by Kalahandi 90.35% and Jajpur 90.19%.
