BHUBANESWAR: As many as 26 from Odisha cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination-2015, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
While Delhi girl Tina Dabi is the all-India topper and Aamir ul Shari Khan Akhtar and Jasmeet Singh Sandhu have secured second and third positions respectively, Divyajyoti Parida from Odisha has secured 26th rank in the country.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday congratulated the successful candidates and hoped that they would perform strong administrator in the coming days.
Besides Divyajyoti Parida, 25 others from Odisha successfully cleared the UPSC examination. They are Anupam Mishra (81), Ashok Mishra (122), Khyama Mishra, Sagarika Nath (199), Amitabh Mishra (260), Smruti Mishra (269), Rahul Deo (279), Abhilash Mishra (341), Subhankar Mohapatra (367), Dhiman Boral (398), Suman Sourav Mohanty (413), Himadri Bhusan Biswal (516), Ashish Kumar Senapati (548), Aparajita Das (560), Pramod Nayak (779), Lingaraj Nayak (922), Sitikantha Das (946), Sridhara Das (974), Dipak Kumar Murmu (1031) and Indrajit Panda (1075)
Notably, 1078 candidates cleared the ICS examinations. While 180 have qualified for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 150 for Indian Police Service (IPS) and 45 for Indian Foreign Service (IFS) have qualified.
The remaining 703 candidates have qualified for Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
