SBI In Angul Distributes Kisan Credit Card

ANGUL: The Hulurisinga ADB( Agri. Development  Bank)of State Bank Of India at Angul sanctioned Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loan to 30 farmers on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya at Surab village of the district.

KCC loan was sanctioned to provide timely and adequate credit to farmers to meet their credit production needs besides meeting contingency expenses, and expenses related to ancillary activities through simplified procedure facilitating availing of the loans as and when needed.

On the occasion, hundreds of farmers ploughed lands and sowed paddy seeds. Some farmers were with traditional musical instrument singing folk songs addressing Goddess Laxmi and the rain god “Indra Dev” etc. to give good crops during the coming agricultural season.

Chief Manager Biswanath Sethy from Regional Business Office and Branch Manager Kumuda Kumar Nanda delivered a brief convocation On the occasion to the gathering and offered all possible help to the farmers in the coming days.

They urged the farmers to cooperate with the Bank for their improvement. In the meeting, 200 farmers were distributed pagadi by the Bank, and hundred of the farmers were distributed Bamboo basket for sowing seeds.
