Man Strangled To Death In Kamakshyanagar

DHENKANAL: A man was allegedly strangled to death in Muktapasi village under Kamakshyanagar police station of Dhenkanal district, said police on Saturday.

The man identified as Bitta Munda of Majhikhaman in Muktapasi village was allegedly strangled to death by Sarat Munda in the morning hours on Saturday, said police.

Sarat Munda, who hails from Keonjhar district, is residing in his in-law’s house after marriage.

After getting the information, the local people captured Sarat and handed over to police.

Police said the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.

They have sent the body for autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
