Two Youth Arrested For Abducting Minor Girl

ROURKELA:  The Rourkela police on Friday arrested two youth for allegedly abducting a  minor schoolgirl.

 Police are searching another youth in this case, who is absconding.

Sources said,  a  minor girl (14)  resides with her parents at  Koel  Nagar area and studies in  8th  class in  MGM  school at  Jhirpani here.

 On  Friday morning,  she had gone to her school by her cycle.   After about one hour,  her father went to the school to deposit her fees.  When he enquired  in school  about her daughter,  he could  come to  know that  she was  not present  in school, said police.

He immediately  inquired with his relatives, and  they started searching for her.  Her father  could come  to know that  she is in  Nehru park  at sector  19  area here.  He along with his  relatives went  to  Nehru park  and found  her daughter  was with three  other youths, said police.

Seeing the  father of the  girl along with some other  persons,  one youth  ran away  from the  spot.  Her father rescued the minor girl, and two youth  were nabbed.

After that,  they informed  Sector-19  police and  handed over  the two youth  to the police.

Father of  the girl  lodged an FIR against three  youth for  abducting his  minor daughter.

The two youth have been identified  as  Sahib Ali(19)  and  Riaz  Udit(19),  both are the resident of the Sector-15  area here.  Police are  now searching  another youth  to arrest  him.
