Bhubaneswar: After arriving at the Rio Olympics Village, ace sprinter Dutee Chand on Friday expressed her anguish over the discriminatory treatment given to the Indian Olympic players.
She said that Indian players are given poor treatment compared to the team managers.
She said while the team managers were allowed to travel in business class in flight, the players travelled in the economic class.
” Journey to @Rio2016_en was little tough. 30hrs flight ws little painful. Economy class it was. Bt as a sports person m ok wit challenges,” tweeted Dutee after reaching at Rio.
She said the exertion of journey may affect the performance of the players.
