Bhubaneswar: Ace sprinter from Odisha Dutee Chand has sought the blessings from the people before the D-day at the Rio Olympics on Friday.
“When I step in to d tracks tomorw wit all ur blessings, I want u all to keep praying. Plz send all your wishes with the #FlyingChand tag,” tweeted Dutee.
She will compete with other sprinters coming across the globe on 100-meter track on Friday. Another sprinter from Odisha Srabani Nanda has qualified for the 200-meter race.
Meanwhile, special prayers and ‘yagnas’ are being organized in Dutee’s village Gopalpur in Jajpur district as she would face the bests in the 100-meter race in Rio Olympic.
