Srabani Nanda Fails To Qualify For Semi-final In Rio Olympics

Bhubaneswar: Indian sprinter Srabani Nanda failed to qualify for the semi-final in the Rio Olympics as she finished 6th in the 200-meter heats.

Srabani, who was on track number six, finished sixth among eight participants. She crossed the 200-meter in 23.58 seconds.

The disappointing performance of Srabani Nanda has disheartened the people in Odisha. Srabani hails from Kandhamal district in Odisha.

Earlier, Dutee Chand had failed to qualify for the semi-final in the 100-meter heats.
